Anita Hunt grew up in Ohio. She studied art at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts. She has been an active artist for nearly 30 years, working primarily in the media of printmaking, photography, drawing, and artist's books. Her work is widely shown in national and international exhibitions. Anita is a member of the Boston Printmakers and the Past President of the Monotype Guild of New England. Since 2001, she has been affiliated with Zea Mays Printmaking, a studio facility dedicated to safer, non-toxic and innovative printmaking methods, where she is both a studio member and a frequent instructor. Her current work is represented in the studio's Flat File Project.
